Rainier to Ruston 2015

Honestly this is the best race ever. It is 52 miles/ 4 man relay and such a beautiful course. I loved running it this year with Phil, Roger Darr (Phil's friend from high school) and Katrina. We had amazing weather for June at around 80 degrees. We lost Phil again at that same transition as last year so he ran two legs back to back to Roger ran the last leg of the race. We had a great time and ran pretty fast. Plus it was nice to not have to worry about a flat tire this year and having runners hitch-hike ride along the course. I am sad that I wont be able to do it this year after just having the baby, but I will be excited to start it up again in 2017. Team Hot Lava...Hotter than Normal Lava. A lady during the race took a picture of my shirt because she thought they were so funny. I told her about Cannon and how it was a perfect example of his sense of humor. My first leg of the race through the trail was super muddy this year and I almost lost a shoe, but it was great fun.

Super 30

The kids playing Super 30 (a game Phil made up when we were waiting for something) out in the yard with Phil one afternoon. Phil is such a great dad and does such a great job at making time for the kids. He has been super helpful during this pregnancy and now that I am on limited exercise he does a great job at getting the kids moving.

Jump for Heart

Lyla has been so excited about her Jump for Heart event at school. She has been practicing like crazy and went around with Nana and Boppa to the neighbors to get donations. She was the highest in the school for donations and jumped for an hour at school that day. She is able to go forward, backward, cross and double jump. She has also talked Cannon in to jumping with her. Super cute.
