Sisters

Driving home from the airport I had tears streaming down my cheeks and I hear Cannon from the back seat, "I love Aunt Nicki and Robbi." I just said, "I do too!" If was really a great weekend spent with sisters. Even with sick kids we managed to have a great time. We watched a lot of "girly" movies, stayed up late talking and laughing, we ate good food and enjoyed being together. My sisters are the best and only wish we could live closer together, but for now I am just happy I will get to see them again in June when we all go to Driggs for a few weeks. We really missed having Stephanie around and can't wait to see her this summer.

We had a great time taking pictures outside yesterday, but didn't make it out until all the kids were in bed so it wasn't the best light. We laughed pretty hard at the fun dance photos we took.

I got to be sandwiched in by the two pregnant sisters. Ashlee and Steph are having girls this summer and Robbi will add another boy in September. That makes 16 girls and 5 boys. Sick kids slept everywhere. We even found Arleigh asleep on the bathroom floor.

Warmth

Yesterday was so beautiful and I never would have guessed it was still April here in the Northwest. Miya and Cannon loved feeling the warmth of the sun on their little faces. When they asked to get swimsuits on I almost said no, but how many days in April will be warm enough to play in the freezing water.
Lyla just loved eating snacks and sitting by Aunt Ashlee. It should be another warm one today and Cannon is already walking around with a life jacket on inside to be ready for me to take him down to the water.

Smash

My little sister, Ashlee is here for the week visiting with her two girls. It has only been a day and my abs are already a little tighter from all the laughing. I love this girl. Plus we get a little bonus of SUPER SUNNY WEATHER.

Toot Toot

Last night I was reading with Miya and her book was about Ed and his steam engine. At one point she read, "toot, toot" and started to laugh. She then said, "I have to learn not to laugh at that because my teacher said it isn't funny when I laughed about it at school."

What am I teaching her at home? Toot is a funny word, right? Well I thought it was a little funny too, especially when she said she laughed at school. What is life without a sense of humor.
