Summer Beach Party 2017

The summer swim/beach party was a great success this year. We had great weather and everyone was having a great time hanging out with each other. Lot of food and snacks, games, swimming and some music and dancing to end the night.

Youth Temple Trip 2017

We've got a great little group of youth at church. Such great leaders who care so much about everyone. I love the opportunities the youth in the church have to do supper important service.

Fall 2017

The kids were back in soccer and Nona loved the hours we spent at the park during practice. We walked the dog park for hours and she loved just running around without her shoes on before the weather got cold. Cannon and Lyla were never as excited to go to soccer as Nona was.

San Diego Summer 2017

 The first day was cloudy so we went over to Coronado and rode bikes and hung out with Nick's kids.

 Sunday Nicki took Nona to church with her and we took the other kids down to the Mormon Battalion. It was warm and we had fun walking around checking things out.

 We headed out to the State Park and enjoyed hiking around.

 Nona loved Selma and hanging out with Aunt Nicki the most. Selma was sure happy to see us go.

The trip was fantastic. I didn't get many pictures from all the great days we spent at the beach enjoying the waves and the water. It was so fun to stay with Nicki and get a chance to see cousins before they leave for Japan. This was the trip the kids picked and were so happy to be in Southern California. Nicki is such a great host and made sure we had a fantastic time.

Elder Newville

Saying good-bye to Austin before he headed off to Utah and then his mission in San Diego. We had to make sure we got a picture of how much taller he was than Cannon before he left. It has only been a few months and Cannon has already grown a couple inches. It will be so fun to see how different this picture is when he gets back in two years. He is a great example for Cannon and has been such a good young man for Cannon to watch in scouts and young mens. Nona loves Austin and talks about him and wants to see pictures of him even though she could barely talk when he left.
