Phil got tickets from work for the BYU vs UW football game. We all dressed in either BYU or UW gear and went to cheer on both teams. Being a cougarhusky makes these games pretty easy to watch because we don't really care who wins. BYU didn't show up to play so it was UW all the way, but the kids had a good time. Michael was in town for the game and a guys weekend so we got to see him.
Lyla ran cross country for Lockburn this Fall with some friends. She got so much better through the season and really learned to enjoy running. She is even looking forward to track starting next week. We had beautiful weather for all the meets and Nona loved going and cheering for all the kids.
This was one of the summer projects to paint the walls and the floor of the basement and get it water proofed from the inside so we could move Miya down there. Nona was sharing a room with Cannon and needed to get into a bed so we moved her in on the bottom bunk with Lyla. We got a bedroom set from the Bennetts since they were not moving all their furniture to Florida in their move. I got a privacy curtain because we aren't ready for walls yet. Miya has been happy to have her own space and Lyla and Nona are great at sharing a room. I am glad it worked for everyone.
Miya, Adam and Brienz team had my phone so I got all their pictures. Lyla and Noah's team won, but all the kids had a really great time. It is so fun to see these kids have great friendships with great kids.
