Packages from Sisters

I told Stephanie about the scare I had with a guy on a bike following me in a mask one morning while I was on my run. She didn't like the story and quickly got online and sent me some pepper spray for my runs. Got to love sisters. It really does make me feel safer having this on my run...even though chances are I would spray myself if I ever had to use it.

San Antonio 2019

We had a great sisters trip to San Antonio this Spring. We were all excited to see Grace and how she was doing since she got home from her mission for her foot surgery and pt she was doing. The weather was great and we enjoyed a play, The Sound of Music in the city, exploring walks around Robbi's neighborhood, great food, amazing company and a fun walk around the city before we left. We missed Nicki this year since she was in Japan and mom and dad because they were still on their mission in New York.

Snowbowl 2019

 We were able to plan a spring break trip up to Snowbowl with the Paces and the Dahlkes. It started at dirt and mud for the first 1/4 mile, which made it a little hard for Phil to pack the sled and food.

We had a couple of great days sledding up on the mountain and great views of Mt. Rainier. Jamie Pace felt we tricked her in to coming, but was so glad she made it to the top and wouldn't do it again.

Homecoming 2018

Miya had to go to the Homecoming dance because she is involved with ASB. The week before was General Conference so we were at Todd and Mel's so Mel played around with Miya's hair to try a few different ideas. We took pictures and then Alexis did it that night for the dance. Mel also had this dress she got for Jeff's wedding that didn't fit so she gave it to Miya. It was almost a perfect match to the dresses Miya was looking at online. She ended up having to wear it for prom too because the dress she ordered didn't come in time. She look beautiful on both occasions. Grateful for good friends that can do hair and help a sister out!

Funny Things

I was much better at writing down all the cute funny things my other kids did or said years ago. With Nona we are always getting pictures and laughing at her cute words or phrases, but I keep forgetting to write them down. So here are a few:

"I need free pieces of candy" while holding up 3 fingers
"we should share" or "I'll share with you" if she wants something you have.
"that's a good idea" after telling you she wants something (mostly candy)

I told her months ago that Aunt Robbi has a pomegranate tree so she keeps saying "we are going to Aunt Robbi's house tomowwow to get a pomegranate"

She loves Paw Patrol and running around outside. We have expanded her world with buying the neighbors house and having Nana and Boppa next door. She found a hole in the fence that goes into their yard. She loves dresses and these dance leotards I got months ago and is always in them and so dirty from being outside or in construction with me.
