Family Pictures 2019

I loved out family pictures this last fall. Someone I am so far behind on posting for this blog. It is funny because my kids love looking at old post and pictures here, but I loose track and forget to post. I have such an amazing family and it is crazy to think that Miya will be wrapping up her Junior year and her first year of college for running start at Pierce College. Cannon will be starting running start this next year. Lyla will be in 8th grade. I have one more year of Nona at home before Kindergarten. Love these peeps and Jamie Pace for being such an amazing friend and photographer. This next Fall we might be taking out family pictures at our house if Washington never opens up after Covid-19.

Nursery 2019

Phil and I got to help out a lot in the nursery this Fall as people were coming and going in the ward. If Nona sat down Edison had to sit on her lap. It was super cute and sweet how much he liked being around her.

Gingerbread Houses Christmas 2019

Nona was super excited to eat all the candy and put together a gingerbread house. The other kids really just did it for her. Cannon loves to tease about his double chin he got from me.

Zoo trip 2019

Annual zoo trip didn't happen before school started so we had a chillier day, but we made a quick trip and then hit Dairy Queen for a treat. I think I am starting to like the zoo more than any of my kids. Cannon didn't even want to go with us that day and went to school instead.

Tot Play Winter 2020

Alexis was watching Edison, her nephew, and we found out that the community center across the street from Harrison Prep does open gym tot time on Tuesday and Thursday for $2.00 so we started going. The kids loved it and we could chat for an hour and a half. Covid-19 has put a halt to all things, but it was fun while it lasted. Nona made a couple friends and loved one little girl that came each week. Nona is about triple the size and weight of Edison.

My Testimony

I have finally decided to follow in the footsteps of my wonderful Grandfather and put my testimony in writing. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and know that I have been greatly blessed to have strong and courageous ancestors who brought the Gospel into my life. Through much study and prayer I have come to know that I have a personal Savior, Jesus Christ that lived and died for me. I know that He lives and has conquered death that I too may live again. I know that my Father in Heaven has given all the oppurtunity to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost through baptism because he loves us. The Holy Ghost can testify of the truthfulness of all things to our hearts, both things of this physical world and also the spiritual relm. We can receive answer to prayer by searching the scriptures for in them are truth and light.
I love the Prophet, Joseph Smith and am thankful for the sacrifices he made in restoring the Gospel back to the earth. I know that he saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ and that they spoke to him. I know that there is a Prophet on the earth today that speaks to God and directs his children.
I am thankful for the perfection of the Gospel and yet also thankful for the imperfections of the millions of members of the church. With each one striving, like I am, to live better lives each day and become more like our Savior.
