Family Neighbors

It is so fun to have Andra and Bryce living next door and getting to hang out with them and their kids. Random family game night around Christmas before they went to Granada to get Bryce.

Nona and one of her really great curly hair days. She loves being able to go back and forth between Nana's, Aunt Andra's and our house. Her world seems pretty large and safe.

I love the potato people stage of drawing. She loved making drawings for people and learning her letters so she could put names on the pictures.

Thanksgiving 2019

Tim brought his dog for a visit and Nona loved it.

Tamara and her family came and stayed in the cabin for Thanksgiving. We all had such a great time having them here. We all traveled up to Amber's for dinner and it is always fun to see all the cousins together enjoying themselves.

My Testimony

I have finally decided to follow in the footsteps of my wonderful Grandfather and put my testimony in writing. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and know that I have been greatly blessed to have strong and courageous ancestors who brought the Gospel into my life. Through much study and prayer I have come to know that I have a personal Savior, Jesus Christ that lived and died for me. I know that He lives and has conquered death that I too may live again. I know that my Father in Heaven has given all the oppurtunity to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost through baptism because he loves us. The Holy Ghost can testify of the truthfulness of all things to our hearts, both things of this physical world and also the spiritual relm. We can receive answer to prayer by searching the scriptures for in them are truth and light.
I love the Prophet, Joseph Smith and am thankful for the sacrifices he made in restoring the Gospel back to the earth. I know that he saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ and that they spoke to him. I know that there is a Prophet on the earth today that speaks to God and directs his children.
I am thankful for the perfection of the Gospel and yet also thankful for the imperfections of the millions of members of the church. With each one striving, like I am, to live better lives each day and become more like our Savior.
