Cannon had a great basketball team last year. His coach was such an amazingly nice man. He didn't have a boy on the team, but really wanted to be involved in the community. He was a great coach and worked with all the boys on both basketball skills and having a positive attitude. They only ended up losing one game the whole season and it was to two boys Cannon goes to school with so he heard about it a lot the next week.

Conference Spring 2015
I found a ton of pictures from my phone from last spring and even though it is out of order I thought I should make some sort of progress on the blog even if it is a year behind. These are just pictures of us laying around listening to conference. All the kids wanted a back scratch and hair braids for the girls. I love these times with the kids. It is also fun to look at these pictures and think about the time we didn't even imagine having another baby and now I am 28 weeks pregnant. I might like the pictures most of all because I still fit in regular clothes.

Victoria BC 2015
Phil surprised me with the trip to Victoria for my birthday. We had the first ultrasound that morning and we were waiting to tell family until 12 weeks. I made it until that day at 10 weeks and then I sent a text to my family with a picture from the ultrasound. I was still feeling pretty yucky most evenings, but we had a great time. We rented bikes and rode the island for a day. I couldn't keep up with Phil so I rode most of the day by myself. We got some great pictures and the day was beautiful. We ate good food and relaxed. We stopped in Poulsbo on the way to the ferry and picked up some treats at the bakery Phil would visit when he was younger and his grandparents lived there. I love spending time with Phil when we can get away.
Lost a Bet
Phil made a bet with a lady from Boise he works with through IREM. The winner between Boise State and UW got to get a shirt for the loser to wear for the day. Good thing he looks good in orange.
Labor Day 2015
The guys went fishing in the morning at Nisqually...only Kris caught anything. We met up with them and cooked the fish and played on the rope swing. Miya and Tenli fell in the water. Everyone else made it through unscathed. Always fun hanging out with the Newvilles.
