We had the Newville's over for Easter dinner and did a small egg hunt in the front yard after. It was pretty chilly with the wind, but nice to not have rain. I was hoping that I would have already had the baby even though Easter came early this year at the end of March.
We had a pretty low key New Year's Eve. Phil took the kids downtown Tacoma for a little bit, but then we just made chocolate covered treats, played some games, spent some time rollerblading inside in our new pjs from Christmas and watched the fireworks outside at the neighbors. I was just surprised I made it until midnight.
Took the train to meet Phil downtown during winter break. They had the lights on the trees and a fun little place set-up outside. They rode the carousel and we had warm mini donuts and hot chocolate. We played ping-pong and foosball. All the kids wanted to get gifts for the rest of the family for Christmas so we took everyone shopping and had a great time.
