Ward Mother's Day
Phil always tries really hard to do something special for the ladies in the ward for Mother's Day. This year he (we) made 100 molten lava brownies in little glass jars for everyone. The jar had just enough room left over for a scoop of ice cream. I think it was a big hit.
Miya's Volleyball
This year Miya tried out for Mann Middle School volleyball. I was so proud of her for going to a school that she didn't know anyone and didn't attend and trying out for the team. She was such a trooper and worked hard all season and made some good friends. That has been one of the hard things about having the kids go to HP is that they don't have sports teams. It was one of the reasons Miya decided to leave HP for high school and go to Lakes. She went to a volleyball camp at Lakes this summer and has been working on her serve and getting ready for tryout in the next couple of weeks. It has been so fun to play with her this summer and watch her improve.

Nona
Miya came home from Youth Conference and said she missed Nona so much. She was so excited to see her the next morning when they all woke up. We love this little girl so much. Nona has started talking and can say; ball, balloon, book, boat, bubba, pop (which means poop and bubble depending on how she is smelling) dadda, mom, lyla. She can make the sounds of a dog, cat, cow, sheep, dinosaur and pop like a fish. We pretty much love everything she does except cry which doesn't happen often because someone quickly gives her whatever makes her happy. She is a wild one at church with her loud talking and running around. 4 months till nursery so we are busy walking the halls as I do stuff for the Primary.
She is a good eater and will eat anything except bread. She sleeps great still doing two naps a day each about 2 hours and sleeps 12 hours at night. She loves the water and being outside. We take walks with Jamie Pace and Aiden every week and she is so happy to be with a baby and outside. She is super social and loves pretty much anyone. She kisses with her whole mouth and squeezes when she hugs. She will wiggle hug if she can't get it tight enough.

Mann Tennis 2017
Cannon played tennis at Mann Middle School this year. It was their first year for tennis and they did a great job. I was so proud of him for playing a sport with a team he didn't even know.
Nona loved going to the matches and being outside eating dirt and rocks.
Family Fun
