Sunday Walks
Nothing like getting out on a chilly rainy Sunday afternoon to walk the Nisqually Bird Refuge Boardwalk. I sure loved having Miya home for so many months between BYU-I and graduate school. She is such a joy to have around. We even got the Dahlke's to join us for a walk.

Lake Powell 2023
We had an amazing trip to Lake Powell last September. We spent the week on Brant and Lindzee's house boat. The weather was amazing and their boat was so nice. They also had a wake-surf boat that we took out everyday. Food was amazing, full drink fridge, comfortable beds, swimming, horse-shoes, volleyballish game (can't remember what it is called) friends, laughter and sun. They did some high cliff jumps, tried a rope swing, driving up a slot canyon and partied for some birthdays. My birthday was the last day and it was so fun to celebrate with everyone.
Mariner's Games 2023
Rally Time and we even won...but we needed someone else to lose.
Since Phil doesn't get tickets from work with his new gig we had to buy tickets this year to the Mariner's games. We were able to get a few to the last games of the season. We took mom while she was here after watching the kids while Phil and I were at Lake Powell. It was super rainy, but we were able to have a good time. It is always so fun to go to the games.

Driggs 2023
This year was different because we were only able to stay 1 week and people were coming and going and we missed Miya and Cannon being with us the whole time. The weather was amazing and it was so good to see everyone we could. Ryan had to head back to Jordan for work and Nicki was staying until August so she was the last to leave. Miya went the week before we did so she could be with all the older girls. Lyla flew out the Monday before we went on Friday so she could have time with all her cousins. Michael was there for 2 days so we had to party hard. We played pickleball, swam, golfed, volleyball, ice cream and loved being together. It was still much harder being in Driggs this summer and expecting to see dad in all the places he would normally be, mowing his lawn, coming in from golf with the guys, hanging out in his bedroom, loving on all the kids. I sure do miss him. It was great to be with mom and I am excited to have her come here in September.
