Miya and Cannon had their preschool graduation yesterday and they were super excited about it. They loved decorating their caps and practicing the songs they would be singing. Then the time came to put on the caps and Cannon was not happy. First he was not happy about using "girl hair clips" to keep his on (I even brought blue because I thought it might go over better). Second his hair is so short even the clips weren't holding his cap on so then he was mad that it kept coming off. Finally he was not happy about not getting to wear it all day. Luckily they got these really good granola bar/cookie things after the ceremony so his attention quickly shifted. Who said food is not a good bribe/solution to most problems, never had kids of their own!

so, do they go for another year? Or are they both headed off for Kindergarten? I'm feeling ambivalent with regards to PreSchool...maybe given our locale, or maybe I've just got attachment issues.

Miya is off to Kindergarten and it is all day which, I am having a hard time with. I will miss her being around everyday. Preschool was just two days a week and they loved it. Cannon will do preschool again next year. He will miss Miya while she is at school. He hasn't done much in his short life without her.
