Nothing much going on around here right now, but thought I would put up the pictures of the kids from the other night. They did catch a dead fish the other day and have been keeping it in a bucket. Cannon was sure it was just sleeping so needed to watch it for a few hours to see if it would stop floating and start swimming around. He was just as excited to see that a ladybug came and swam around the fish. I made the kids wash their hands really well before they ate lunch and the fish has since been wrapped in a bag and taken to his final resting place...the garbage.
I got my hair cut the other day. Just a few inches off for the summer. All the swimming and sun have taken a toll on the not so great hair anyway.

My kids haven't stoped talking about yours. I think they think Cannon is the coolest name they have ever heard. They are calling all their animals Cannon. Only a really cool Mom would let her kids babysit a dead fish!
We found a ladybug in our grapes from the grocery store and Alli wanted to see if he wanted a swim. Needless to say, it didn't make it. Poor girl was heartbroken to see that it was dead. But I have to say that a sleeping dead fish is even better. I love that Cannon had faith that it would wake up. What a cutie.
